Rotary Wing Community

How it all started

RaptAir’s Operations Manager, has been an active member in a multitude of community service projects. As one of the youngest Shelterbox (Rotary international disaster relief programme) participants in fundraising challenges and in accompanying his parents on deployments to Swaziland, Lesotho and South Africa, strong values of community service were instilled in him from a young age.

Always having a love of the outdoors & adventure, Mawgan is a Queens’ Scout, having  joined the Scouts program in the UK as a Cub and gaining the peak awards at Cub, Scout and Venturer Level. He continues today supporting the next generation of scouts as a Rover/ Youth Leader.

Of most recent note was his work on the Lismore floods in March of 2022, where Mawgan was one of a few pilots volunteering their time to assist in air support and relief activities with local vets, dealing with flood impacts upon the larger livestock, primarily cattle and horses.

RaptAir will similarly offer services to support local communities especially in times of natural disasters within its scope of operations.
